Streak

28Oct09

Because I want to keep my streak of posting blogs everyday, and now that I have no excuse of not writing any in the next two weeks, I write again.

But I’ll end it there.

Haha. It’s just for the sake of keeping the streak alive. Ta-ta.

Live

27Oct09

I was all too caught up with the trailer video of “Birthday Sex” that I barely skimmed my facebook account and almost totally forgot I have tumblr.

Aha! I was too busy to even mind these social network websites that I actually almost forgot I had them. Therefore, I conclude that these websites are made for people too bored to live their lives in reality.

Oh well.

In one day, everything is all awesome again.

Bummer

24Oct09

I blog for the sake of blogging.

I don’t really want to remember October 24, 2009 that much.

The world today shifts faster than a speeding bullet. One second you blink, the next you’re behind the millions of new things that are born.

Sometimes we like them, but most of the time, we never do, and still embrace, hold on to that tradition we so loved.

One example is the hit social networking website Facebook. I dunno, I guess I’m just too used to the old interface. But I don’t think I’m ready to enjoy using this new one.

Where is my Filipino 11 grade! This ruined my day.

Road sick

23Oct09

Philippines. Traffic. What’s the difference?

Today I finally decided to run my unleaded-filled SUV 100 kilometers far [Ayala-Katipunan Ave.]. I get all hyped up. Fearless. Confident. And someone who believed he was oh-so-full-of-luck.

This was a first, just to stress that out. All firsts are awesome.

So I start the engine like any other day. I hear that roar that was pure music to my ears — like a violin playing Bach’s Concerto in A. Minor. A little rev up made the day a bit more fiesty, a bit more exciting. And then it was history.

Traffic like you’ve never seen before. And I have seen the best of traffic, and this one’s epic. No, don’t even bother imagine about it, cos you’ve never seen anything like this before. About 5 kilometers off the Alabang exit of SLEX, I gave up my first epicĀ long drive in the Philippines, and handed the wheel to my driver.

Fail.

And it was epic.

So, I write this piece in dedication to my 4-hour trip. To all those people who got off their cars to check if there was still a tomorrow. To all those stop lights I passed by which were virtually red the whole time. To my car. To my driver. And to God.

There’s always a next time.
